Tosave Haul + Review

Friday, January 05, 2018

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Tosave, a website with a similar vibe to Ebay where you can buy pretty much anything you want from techy bits to beauty-related stuff. They asked me if I wanted to try out some of their products and I immediately said yes. I ordered a total of six things and today I am here to show you what I got, as well as my thoughts on them.

Rose Necklace

I had just watched 'Beauty and the Beast' before I saw this necklace on Tosave's website and I have to admit I let out a little squeal. I'm not a huge necklace person, even though I have a fair amount of them, and I'm especially not a statement necklace person. At all. This necklace got my attention though as it's a healthy mixture of minimal and statement.

As the rose itself draws a lot of attention, I decided to pick it up in silver as I personally feel it's much more discreet than gold or rose gold. Don't get me wrong, I love gold and rose gold (I mean my whole bedroom decor and gold and rose gold) but for this particular necklace, I think silver was the wisest way to go.

35 Eyeshadow Pallete

I'm one of those people who use their bronzer as an eyeshadow. Why? Because I feel like it ties the look together and also because I literally own one makeup palette that doesn't really go with the 'natural look' I try to go for every day.
I saw this makeup palette and immediately thought of the Morphe 35O Pallete, a pallete I've been dying to get my hands on. I went with this one instead. I have to say I was a bit surprised at the size of the pallete. I thought it would be much bigger than it actually is, but now I think I actually prefer it to be small and compact as it means I can take it pretty much everywhere with me

Oh hello! I'm Rita, an organisation freak. Nice to meet you!

Yes, that's right I'm one of those people who literally write and plan everything out. I like order, what can I say?

As I mentioned on my here, I got a Mr Wonderful Agenda as a Christmas gift but unfortunately, this agenda does not come with a monthly calendar and I desperately needed one to use as my editorial calendar. You can imagine my happiness when I found this beauty on Tosave. I had to get it immediately. This A4 planner is super thin as it only had a monthly calendar and a few pages with wishlists and yearly logs. It makes visualising your month/year super easy as you don't have to go back and forth.

Washi Tape

To go with my planner, I decided to get a few bits and bobs to decorate it and make it more fun. First off we got washi tape. I have quite the obsession with washi tape. My mum just rolls her eyes by now every time I get home with yet another roll of washi.
I decided to get this pack of ten glitter washi tapes because the two glitter washi tapes I owned previously (one gold and another pink) we're pretty much done with and I needed new ones. I love the colour selection of this kit, even the green (and I'm not usually a huge fan of green).

Photo Album Stickers

So yeah, these are supposed to be put on polaroids and stuff like that but since I don't own a
polaroid camera and really liked the stickers I decided to get them anyway and use them on my planners. I'm actually way happier with them than I thought I would. The image displayed on Tosave's website shows the stickers as red and black but they are actually pink!

Diary Stickers

More stickers! Yeah, I know I'm strange.
I got these food stickers because one of my new year's resolutions is to get healthier and I feel like these will get me more motivated. I know it sounds weird but if it helps, why not do it?

These come in two sheets: a clear sheet where the stickers are very bright and a white sheet where the stickers come in a pastel colour. The stickers are the same on both sheets, which I find nice because that mean if you really like one particular sticker, you'll have it in double.

So there you have it, my first Tosave haul! Have you ever bought something from them?
