As the weather starts to become colder, us girls tend to grab our beloved boots from the back of our closets. By now, pretty much every woman owns a pair of over the knee boots: they were the it shoe last year  (click here to read the post about OTK's I wrote last year)and, this season, they remain as one of the top shoes every woman must own.

At a first glance, over the knee boots can seem a tad daunting as their seductive style might look like too much to wear during the day, but today I'm here to show yoy some ways you can wear this trend on a daily basis.

What's On My Bedside Table?

What's On My Bedside Table?

I was looking through my older blogposts the other day and realized I've never written a proper post about my home, specifically my bedroom. As you may know already (since I've probably said it a million times), I love decorating: I'm always looking for new stuff to add to my bedroom and new ways to redecorate with the items I already own. Now, at first, I was contemplating on doing a bedroom tour, but then realized my room is still not at the place I would like it to be, meaning I still have to do a few tweaks here and there, so I decided to show you my bedside table.

The bedside table itself was designed by my father, as he used to work at a furniture design company. Its original color was brown but about 5 years ago, I painted all my furniture white and the bedside table was no exception.  On its three drawers I keep my most intimate stuff and also my medicine.

My lamp was given to me by my grandma, so I have no idea where she bought it.  Next to it, lays the book I'm currently reading, which is 'The Necklace' by Cheryl Javis and on top of that I have my Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream and a piggy bank with my name: I've been trying to save money (if you're interested in tips on how to save money, check my post here) so I keep it on my bedside table to remind myself to put some coins in there every now and again.

5 NAIL POLISHES FOR FALL

5 NAIL POLISHES FOR FALL

As the weather cools down, we women tend to tone down the color of our nail polishes. While most of us wear super bright and neon color during the summer, in the fall we tend to shift into moody tones and dark colors. Today, I'm here to show you 5 nail polishes I own that are perfect for fall.

1- Kiko Nail Lacquer (275) - 1,99€ (on sale)

You really can't go wrong with a good black nail polish right? I love this Kiko one: it's the perfect shade and you don't need to apply tons of coats (like I had to with other polishes) to get it completely opaque, two coats will do the trick.

2- Kiko Nail Lacquer (243)- 1,99€ (on sale)

I love this shade, it reminds me so much of fall. The deep plum shade looks great on the nails, and just like the black polish, two coats are enough to make the nail color completely opaque.

3- Kiko Nail Lacquer (319)- 1€ (on sale)

Although this polsih is a light grey color, it's still a great fall color. The grey tone makes it look moody but as it is light, it's not as heavy as some darker colors.

4- Andreia Rocket Nail Polish (114)- 2,99€

Nude tones are great for any season. It's subtle yet still noticeable. I think this nude polish is great for fall because it has a slight grey tint, which gives the polish a moodier look.

5-Code Nail Color (97)- 1€ (on sale)

I had never seen a camel / warm brown colored nail polish before, so when I saw this one, I had to get it. It was the first time I bought a nail polish for Code and I had very low expectations, but I have to say, this is actually a good polish. It dries fast and you don't need a ton of coats to make it opaque. Definitely a good surprise.

What are your favorite polishes or fall?

Alongside fashion, interior decor is a passion of mine. I'm always looking for new things to add to my bedroom and ways trying to find new ways to decorate with the things I already own.
